Winding Ridge Garter

Decorative garter featuring vintage jacquard ribbons and trimmed with vintage satin ribbon bows. Inspired by historical garters, which in the days before elastic were worn widely by both men and women, as they were necessary for keeping one's stockings up and were commonly designed to be tied in the back. This iteration involves elastic and serves a purely aesthetic purpose. Wear with stockings or without, lower on the leg for maximum visibility or higher up for more of a surprise vibe. 

Material: Vintage jacquard and satin ribbons (precise compositions unknown), lined with 100% cotton.

Fit: Garters are elasticized. The ideal fit is for the maximum stretch of the garter to fit your upper thigh, and for the minimum stretch to fit your upper calf, just below your knee, depending on how you plan to wear them and the level of versatility you'd like from them. Sizing is predicated on the garter's maximum stretch and the upper thigh circumference.
